Mindfulness for Nonprofit Leaders

Mindfulness-based Emotional and Social Intelligence (MESI) is a training program developed to enable our employees, clients, and community to hone the skills and practices that help us be fully present and act intentionally in our lives and relationships.

MESI focuses on self-awareness, intentional management of emotions, recognition of other people’s emotions, and compassion. Teams with this skillset are more focused, more effective, and happier as a result. And those benefits translate directly to your clients.

The results we’ve seen have been so powerful that it’s led us to adapt and share MESI workshops and curriculum with other organizations in the community. The workshop explores the fundamentals of mindfulness and the four components of emotional and social intelligence (self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and relationship management).

We’re looking forward to hosting this workshop for nonprofit leaders to help them build a “MESI Toolbelt” that can help their board, employees, beneficiaries and organizations thrive.
